CANCELLATION POLICY.

No contracts. Cancel anytime with 30 days notice. Here's exactly what happens.

HOW TO CANCEL

Send a cancellation request to operations@upswingfast.com from the email address on your account. Your cancellation notice period begins on the date the email is received and confirmed by us.

Email, not text

Cancellations must be submitted by email to create a clear written record. Cancellation requests sent by text to 971-509-5656 will be acknowledged, but the clock doesn't start until the email confirmation is sent.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU CANCEL

📧

Day 0 — You send the email

Email operations@upswingfast.com. We confirm receipt within 1 business day and identify your last billing date.

📅

30-day notice period begins

You are billed for one final 30-day period at your standard rate. Monthly subscribers: $200. Annual subscribers: no additional charges (your service runs through the end of your annual term regardless).

🌐

Site stays live through final billing period

Your site remains fully live and operational — no changes, no degraded service — through the end of your last paid period.

đŸ“Ļ

Request your domain or content export (optional)

During this period, you may request a domain transfer ($50) or a content export package ($75). Submit your request before your final billing period ends — you have 60 days from cancellation.

⏚ī¸

Site goes offline

At the end of your last billing period, your site is taken offline and your subscription is closed. Your content is retained for 60 days before being permanently deleted.

ANNUAL SUBSCRIBER CANCELLATION

Annual subscribers who cancel mid-year receive no refund for unused months — but your service continues in full through month 12. The annual fee of $1,800 is non-refundable once the subscription term has begun.

Annual subscribers are not charged a reactivation fee if they return after their annual term ends. This is a permanent benefit of completing an annual subscription.

Annual subscription example

If you subscribe annually in January and cancel in June, your site stays live, your reports keep coming, and your updates remain available through December. You paid for 12 months; you receive 12 months.

REACTIVATION AFTER CANCELLATION

Changed your mind? You're welcome back. Here's how it works:

Within 12 months of cancellation

A $150 reactivation fee applies. This covers the cost of reinstating your hosting environment, reconnecting your domain, restoring your account configuration, and verifying all systems are operational.

Your original site content will be available for restoration if you're within 60 days of cancellation. After 60 days, the site is rebuilt from your records.

After 12 months

No reactivation fee. Treated as a new subscription. A new site will be built from your current business information — we'll research your business afresh.

Repeated cancellation policy

Clients who cancel and reactivate more than twice in a 24-month period may be required to prepay a 6-month subscription upon reactivation. Upswing reserves the right to decline reinstatement at its discretion.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Can I pause instead of cancelling?

We don't currently offer a formal pause option. If you're considering cancelling due to financial circumstances, email us first — we may be able to work something out.

What if I just stop paying?

If a payment fails and isn't resolved within 7 days, your site enters maintenance mode (offline to visitors). After 30 days of non-payment, the subscription is treated as cancelled with no notice period — meaning you lose the remaining 30 days of service you'd otherwise receive with a proper cancellation request.

Will you remind me before my domain is released?

Yes. We send a notice at cancellation and a reminder at the 45-day mark (15 days before the 60-day window closes) if we haven't received a domain transfer request.

Can I transfer my site to another hosting provider?

The site templates and infrastructure are Upswing's intellectual property and do not transfer. You can request a content export ($75) with all your business content, copy, and images in a portable format — which a developer could use to build a new site elsewhere.

I'm cancelling because something went wrong. What should I do?

Please tell us. Email hello@upswingfast.com with what happened. Most problems have a resolution, and we'd rather fix it than lose you as a client.
